Further exploration

After many material experiments I found myself interested in this idea of replace silk with paper in velvet flower craft, because I think it accord with my idea of bring new way of making it to those traditional craft, and I'm interested in the idea of using old book to make the piece.

With this idea I found a old story that is popular in China may fit well, the story is called Dream of the red Mansions. What's special about this book is that each main female character in this book have a poetry of herself which tall her fate. That mains I can make different design for each of them.

I think I will use both traditional way of making velvet flower and new way of using it.
